Have Turkey Day the Carmine’s Way ……at Carmine’s or Delivered to Your Doorstep

This Thanksgiving food advisory comes to us from Lisa Hammer:

Love Thanksgiving eating, but don't feel like cooking?  Carmine’s has you covered on all fronts.  The legendary New York City family-style Italian restaurant that opened in D.C. in August will be offering a hearty feast with all the trimmings for $195 (serves 8-10).

Gather up the family and head to the restaurant on Thursday, November 25th (11:30am – 11pm) and enjoy traditional items like an 18-pound roasted turkey with giblet gravy, classic sausage and sage stuffing, and sweet potatoes topped with marshmallows and maple syrup the way your grandmother used to make.

Walk This Way

Join Becky's Fund this Tuesday evening, September 28, 2010, as fashion takes a stand against domestic violence.

That's right. Eric Finn Custom Clothiers and Becky's Fund will host the Second Annual **Walk This Way** Charity Fashion Show. There, Matt Landsberg, founder and owner of the luxury men’s clothier, will showcase his collection, which will be modeled by local professional athletes and celebrity models.

D.C.'s social and philanthropic elites are expected to congregate for this fabulous event, which will benefit Becky’s Fund, a Washington, D.C.-based national non-profit organization that uses education and empowerment to prevent and raise awareness regarding domestic violence.
