WHS Alumni Update

Meet wonderful Washington Humane Society alumni this week! Want a new way to see more happy endings? This month we are celebrating Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat Month. Adopt your new best feline friend for no adoption fee during June (cats age 2 and older)!

Bam

“It's been a long time since I gave you an update on Bam's progress—he is doing amazing as you will see in his picture! He visits the vet and scores great in all around health and he continues to amaze me each and every day. He is now without a doubt my perfect companion.”
-Andrew Thompson

Read more about Bam’s story in our Winter Scoop newsletter.

Maya

Monica, now Maya, was a staff favorite—our Cat Behavior Manager discovered this social girl even enjoyed walks on a leash outside!

“Maya has loads of energy...she zips around like a little maniac, loves playing with feather toys, and is a great jumper. She's so small she can pretty much squeeze into any space or jump wherever (we're working on that!).  She keeps the other kitties on their toes.”
-Kristy Richie, WHS PACK Volunteer

Pimm

Laura Pettinelli adopted Pimm, formerly Brewtser, who was under foster care by our own President and CEO Lisa LaFontaine! Laura shared this adorable picture and note on Twitter: “Thank you for a wonderful new addition: Brewster aka Pimm!”

Bonnie, Ricky, and Belle

Tracy Meador shared with us a photo of her three Washington Humane Society alumni: dog Bonnie, tabby cat Ricky, and kitten Belle. What a happy family!

Chino

“These are my dogs, Biscuit, the hound mix, and Shiloh aka Chino, my pit bull, who I adopted from the Washington Humane Society in 2010. Chino is a wonderful companion to Biscuit, my two cats, and me—he is a real snuggle bunny! Thank you Washington Humane Society for doing a wonderful job pairing Chino with Biscuit and me!”
